The Getac V110 Review: 5 Features That Fall Short of Expectations.
Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff Inc.
Bob demonstrates what he considers to be the five issues with the Getac V110 in this short review. These issues are not backbreaking but, could be an annoyance when operating this unit.

00:00 | Introduction 00:40 | 5. The Location of the Front Buttons V110 01:25 | 4. Getac V110 Low Nit Screen 01:49 | 3. V110 Stylus Location 02:23 | 2. Clunky Getac V110 Port Covers 03:06 | 1. V110 Lack of SVA port and SD Card Reader 03:46 | Conclusion
Bob begins his countdown of the weaker features on the Getac V110 with the fifth issue which is the location of the buttons on the front of the unit. There are tucked behind the handle and could be easily missed. Then, when you notice they are there, the handle makes it difficult to make use of them. The fourth issue on this list is that the screen only comes with 800 nits. This is nothing compared to the Panasonic Toughbooks CF-19's 6000-nit screen. The third feature of this countdown is that the stylus is stored in the handle. This is inconvenient for those that would rather take the handle off and use a strap because then you have nowhere to put the stylus without the handle. The second most annoying feature of the Getac V110 is the clunkiness of the port covers. Just note that the port covers are great quality for protection but you almost have to fight with them to get them to properly close. Last but not least, the biggest issue that Bob had with this V110 is the lack of an SVGA port and the lack of an SD card reader. The fact that this unit is missing these two ports is astonishing and makes very little sense.
