Bob compares the Getac V110 to the Panasonic Toughbook CF-19. Starting off with the differences with the screens, the V110 comes with an 11.6 inch 800 nit screen compared to the Panasonics 10 inch screen with 6000 nits. Moving on to the keyboards, the Getac has a wider keyboard, allowing for bigger keys. This makes it a lot easier to type for those of us with bigger hands. Meanwhile, the Toughbook's keyboard is smaller than the V110's making it slightly harder to type on. The mousepad on the Getac is also bigger compared to the CF-19. Additionally, both of these units come with spinning screens. One key difference here is that the Toughbook has a lock on the screen to prevent it from moving when you do not want it to, whereas the Getac does not. It could very easily spin when you would not want it to. When it comes to the size difference, the CF-19 is about half an inch thicker than the V110 and the Toughbook still ends up being lighter than the Getac. The V110 also has two hot-swappable batteries while the CF-19 only has a single battery that is not hot-swappable. A couple of big things missing on the Getac are a VGA port and an SD card reader which are both on the Toughbook. But one thing that the V110 has that the CF-19 does not have is the bumpers on the outside that would help absorb some of the force from a drop.
