EY’s Global Blockchain Summit 2020 was held on April 21 – 23, with a key emphasis on EY’s position that the future of enterprise blockchain is public. EY’s focus has been on developing a suite of solutions to help businesses maintain privacy while allowing them to benefit from the public blockchain.

In this talk, we’ll discuss why companies should be on the public blockchain, key developments to EY’s suite of tools announced during the summit, example use cases of these tools and their impact, and finally, provide a demonstration of https://blockchain.ey.com, home to many of EY’s blockchain tools and enablers.

About the Speakers

Xinyi is a risk specialist within Ernst and Young's Blockchain team. Her focus is on the unique risk environment that companies face when employing blockchain technology. Prior to moving to Sydney two months ago, Xinyi was with the EY San Francisco office, where she worked with multinational asset management organizations, fintech startups, and banking clients around their IT and blockchain-specific risks, as well as the associated controls needed for risk mitigation.

Lucille has worked across large business transformation programs in France, the UK and Australia. She worked closely with the Blockchain Start up ecosystem in France with BPI France through meeting companies, start-ups and Blockchain France to showcase the use cases used by the different industries. Lucille is passionate about new trends in technology, and more specifically around Blockchain. She wrote her thesis on “the challenges of Retail Banking facing Blockchain Technology” in collaboration with BNP Paribas. As part of the EY Oceania Blockchain team her goal is to highlight the key blockchain solutions that could be applied to clients’ business needs.
