Development environment and dependency preparation before the hands on exercises

This course is given under SMARTER, a competence development project within Artificial Intelligence (AI) for professionals, funded by the Knowledge Foundation; a collaboration between Örebro University (lead), Jönköping University and University of Skövde. The Knowledge Foundation supports research and professional competence development pursued in partnership with the industry, with the purpose of strengthening Sweden’s competitiveness. Explainable AI is a part-time course, 3 credits; it is expected that the participants will work 80 hours of study over the course of a semester. If you apply for the course through regular admissions, there is no course fee.

In this course, we will present an overview of XAI, model interpretability and explainability in AI and other aspects related to interacting with AI-based systems, trust, evaluation, decision-support and FAT-issues (Fairness Accountability and Transparency).
