This Episode

I did a video on the new Glide Gear no wrinkle backdrop, (which is the bomb by the way) and realized something I should remind you (and myself) to do periodically, especially when changing your location in the space you are filming in, and that is adjusting your key and fill lights.

You'll see in this video that I only move one foot, and EVERYTHING changes - how I look, the dynamics of my face, dark circles under my eyes, and so on.

Realize I only moved a foot, and would have only needed to move the lights a mere 5 degrees and all would have been great.

The lesson here is to really take a video or photo of what you look like with your lighting, and keep adjusting the lights until you get a really great look.

Your camera and lens will love you, and people may just start commenting on how well your videos now look.

It's got nothing to do with you or the camera, and you can totally change the dynamics of videos with these tiny adjustments.
