This is the first video in a new series I'm producing named 'School 4 N00bs' where I try to pass along some of my knowledge on computers to the masses in a way that is more consumable and fun then formal education. In this first video I show you how to enable a feature in Windows 8 that isn't very well advertised that allows you to create and run virtual machines under your host operating system without having to reboot the machine or use 3rd party software like VMWare or VBOX. This allows you to run operating systems like Linux, UNIX, BSD, Solaris, Windows, etc right on top of your existing windows like they were applications. This is very handy when you need a machine to test software on that might be destructive or just want to dedicate a machine to a certain task so you don't have to pollute your machine installation.
