Barnacules Lapping Day at The Ridge in Shelton, WA - Stage 2 Subaru WRX STI - @Barnacules

Hit that SUBSCRIBE button and watch another Barnacules Nerdgasm video right after this one! 🍿 I attended the Ridge Racing School in Shelton, WA to take a driving skills class and turn some laps on there world class track. The experience was amazing to say the least and it illustated just how capable the Subaru STI is as a track car. My instructor was Chris Mason who is a very skilled driver who took me from a very jerky driver to a smooth driver turning much faster lap times by the end of the day.

I was able to hit around 130 mph on the 1/2 mile straight before entering turn one on many of the laps in the video which I was very impressed with. The camera doesn't do the speed justice because some of the forces that I felt on the turns in the video made me thing the car was going to spit me out the side :) I hope you enjoy this video and if you are in the area you should certainly go try this track out. The website is www.ridgeracingschool.com and there prices are more then reasonable when compared to other tracks. Many of the other racers there that day commented on the track as being amazing and they were regulars of other popular tracks like Leguna Seca so that is a testiment to how technical and clean this track is.

I appologize for the audio but the camera being external on the car turned out to be a bad idea and all you hear is high speed wind (oops...).
