Raspberry Pi Hidden Settings - Setup Hostname, SSH and WiFi from the Pi Imager Application.
atomic14
This is probably going to be one of those things that everyone knows about apart from me.
You can set up a whole set of things for your Raspberry Pi all from the Raspberry Pi Imager application. No need to mess around with creating files on the SD Card, just hit "CTRL"+"Shift"+"X" and you get access to an "Advanced Options" screen.
From this screen you can:
Change the default hostname Enable SSH Set the password for the Pi user Configure WiFi
Really handy - not sure why it's so well hidden! Now you can all tell me in the comments that I've been living under a rock and this is common knowledge! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om8gGB3gyT0
