ESP32 Powered Flame Lamp Using 5m WS2812 LED Strip

A fun little project to repurpose the shade from a broken lamp.

I wanted to try and recreate the flame effect inside the lamp. It works pretty well, 299 LEDs (it would have been 300 but one got lost along the way...).

There are 5 meters of LEDs in the project! All compressed into a 25cm tall cylinder to fit inside the lamp.

I'm using the same driver circuit that I used for my Christmas lights project - https://youtu.be/Ueim2Ko8VWo but any level shifter chip would do the job.

There's a bit of 3D printing involved in creating the support structure for the LEDs - I used Fusion 360 for the design of this.
