It will always be in the benefit of the tyrant to actively promote the view that - so-called - "conspiracy theories" are the irrational products of delusional minds. That is, of course, because the tyrant always conspires, and his plans sometimes reach global proportions. So that, a society that is blind to the notion there can be such conspiracies, will be easily guided into subjugation.
