How to use #ChatGPT 4 for FREE without a Plus account or 3rd party tool

If you have a trial or standard pay-as-you-go OpenAI account, then you can only use the older ChatGPT 3.5 bot... or can you?! Here's a perfectly legitimate way to use ChatGPT-4 using OpenAI's system (no third party sites or solutions required).
