Making my own Alexa EP.3 | Building the Karen app
Alfredo Sequeida
I made my own rip-off version of Alexa and I called it Karen. In this video I show you the Karen app, which is an app that I made that allows you to install add-ons as you would with an app store, configure add-ons directly from the app, and configure the Karen system. The app was built using React Native with JavaScript and the backend API is powered by Django with the Django REST Framework using Python, which means that it is cross-platform and allows us to easily port the app to work with other platforms. If you want to see the rest of the series and see what our final voice assistant looks like make sure to subscribe if you have not done so already and hit the notification button!
