Swift and Xcode 6 - Leon Baird

Overview of the new Swift programming language, that is designed to replace Objective C for developing software for Apple devices. The new language collects together some of the best features of contemporary programming, yet retaining some favourite traits of Objective C. Designed from the ground up, it is engineered to totally integrate into existing apps written in Objective C. Also, Xcode 6 has some exciting new additions that will make developing apps easier, more dynamic and fun. Playgrounds and new live views in Interface Builder are some of the exciting new ideas that developers can look forward to using in their workflows.
