Where to Start When Creating your fantasy world #dnd

Creating your own fantasy world can be a daunting task. One good place to start is where you party lives, but what does it look like? Villages are small, remote and don't have much in the way of luxuries and are often out of the loop when it comes to worldly affairs. Towns are larger, with more goods, groups and differing races. Cities are large structures with stone walls, entertainment, houses of knowledge and rare magical items. Knowing how to start off your fantasy world makes everything click for your players.
