Layer Masking in GIMP

Layer Masking in GIMP (or photoshop) allows you to select specific regions and gradients of transparency on a layer. Layer Masking will allow you to fade images together without damaging pixels so edits are easier to control. On this video, we look at subtle and not-so-subtle effects, how to fade an image into another, and how to fade a title into the background. #GIMP #LayerMask #BookDesign
