Relationship Communication Exercises : Understanding a Breakdown
Wellness Talks with Todd J. Schmenk, LMHC
Hey All! Thought I would bring this one back since it is still one of the most useful concepts I continue to use with those I work with.
It looks at the three most common elements that contribute to our becoming upset when communication breaks down. If you know what to watch for and can observe how you react, then you can do something different, something that will be more fulfilling than doing the same old response and getting the same result.
While the focus of this video is more so aimed at an individual, it is completely useful for couples as well and is one of the initial concepts I often use with couples.
