Taking the time to do this, a type of behavioral analysis, especially when you keep getting the same result no matter how much you try, is key to understanding these unconscious automatic responses so that you can choose a different action.
This often results in a different outcome, or at the very least, notes an alternative that also did not work so that you might try again. Failure is simply data of what did not work.
