How To Update The Google Play Store On Android

In this video, I will show you how to update your Google Play Store app on your android device to the latest version available version. When we think of android updates, we tend to think of android system updates and android app updates. However, we don't often think about updating or checking to see if we have the latest version of the Google Play Store app installed on our device. The Google Play Store app is the application we use to update all other application on our Android device. It is therefore important to make sure we have the latest version installed on our device to ensure we have access to the latest Play Store features and have the best app security and stability.

Steps To Update Google Play Store To The Latest Version:

1. Tap on the Play Store app
2. At the top right, tap on your profile picture
3. At the bottom, tap on Settings
4. Tap on About
5. Under Play Store version, tap on Update Play Store. If an update is available, it will automatically begin downloading and installing the latest Google Play Store version. If you're already on the latest version, you will be greeted with a message that says 'Google Play Store is up to date'. Simply tap on Understood if you see this message.

Congratulations! you have successfully updated your Google Play Store to the latest version.
