How To Remove A Payment Method From Your Microsoft Account

In this video, I will be showing you how to remove payment methods from your Microsoft account. If you have a payment method added to your Microsoft account that you're no longer using and have no ongoing subscriptions, then you can delete the payment method from your Microsoft account. In the payment methods section of your Microsoft account, you're not only limited to deleting your payment method but you can also add a new payment method or edit/replace your current payment method details.

Steps To Remove Payment Methods From Your Microsoft Account:

1. Navigate to this webpage https://account.microsoft.com/account
2. Click sign In
3. Sign in to your Microsoft account
4. Click Payment & Billing
5. Click Payment options or
6. Scroll down to Payment options and click on the arrow to the right hand side of it
7. You will now see a list of your payment methods. Click on Manage to the right hand side for the payment method that you want to remove
8. You will now be in Manage your payments . Scroll down to the bottom too Payment methods and click on the red text that says "Remove Payment Method Type Here]" for the payment method that you want removed from your Microsoft account
9. A sidebar window will then open to the right, click on Remove
10. Click Close

Congratulations, you have successfully removed a payment method from your Microsoft account.
