In this video I will show you how to get $100 free DigitalOcean promo credit using my referral link. This promo credit will allow you to try out any DigitalOcean service completely for free. How do you sign up and receive your free promo credit?

1. Open up your browser and navigate to https://m.do.co/c/89b2c5ca8ec4
2. Create a new DigitalOcean account by signing up with one of the following options; Email, Google, or Github.
3. Once you have created your account, complete the sign up process by adding a payment method to your account such as a credit card or Paypal.
4. Lastly, activate your account by clicking on the confirmation link in your inbox.
5. You will now be signed in and taken to the DigitalOcean welcome page.
6. Left click on the top right option "Explore our control panel" and you will be taken to your personal DigitalOcean control panel. At the top right hand corner of the control panel, you should see text that says "$100 Promo Credit" and when hovered over it will also show you, your remaining credits and number of days until your promo credit expires.

How do you know if you qualify for the free promo credit? Only new customers who have never been a paying customer of DigitalOcean and have not previously signed up for the free promo credit before can qualify.

How do you deploy a DigitalOcean Droplet (cloud server/VPS)?

1. Sign in to your DigitalOcean account
2. Once done, you should now be in your DigitalOcean control panel
3. Select your project of choice from the top left hand corner under "Projects"
4. Left click on the blue button that says "Get Started with a Droplet"
5. Configure your virtual private server using the following options:

• Choose an image
• Choose a plan
• Add block storage
• Choose a datacenter region
• VPC network
• Select additional options
• Authentication
• Finalise and create

6. Once done, left click on the green button which says "Create droplet"
7. Your droplet will start deploying
8. One the blue progress bar finishes your droplet will be up and running and ready for you to use. You can also interact with your droplet on the DigitalOcean control panel by left clicking on it to expand the droplet.

Congratulations you have successfully credited your account with free $100 DigitalOcean promotional credit and deployed your first Cloud Server/Droplet.
