How To Clear Or Delete WinSCP Cache - How To Clean Up WinSCP Application Data
In this video, I will show you how you can completely clear or delete all your WinSCP caches off your PC. When you first connected to your server, you were given the choice through a WinSCP warning message, to cache your servers host key that you are trying to connect/login to. If you chose Yes, the host key will be cached and you will therefore have WinSCP cache application data to clear or delete. If you selected No, the host key will not be added to your computer cache and you will be greeted with the same WinSCP warning message when you attempt to reconnect to the same server once again. Clearing or deleting WinSCP's host key caches is not the only application data that can be cleaned up. Two other application data types can also be cleared in a similar way as demonstrated in this video. These two other application data types are "General configuration" and "Random seed file"
