Link's Crossbow Training Playthrough - Level 4
WatchmeplayNintendo
This is part 4 of my capture of me playing through Link's Crossbow training on the Wii. I'm playing through the Score Attack mode.
Although Link's Crossbow Training came out in 2007, I didn't get the game until Christmas of 2008, along with Wario Land: Shake It. I spent that holiday season playing through this game in between sessions of Wario Land. Link's Crossbow Training was a lot of fun and for a $30 game that came with a controller accessory, it had a decent amount of value. I spent a bunch of time trying to get the platinum medals on each level, which gave the game some replayability.
I used to play various light gun games as a kid such as Duck Hunt, Hogan's Alley and Super Scope 6, not to mention the occasional arcade games like Terminator 2 or Area 51. So I grew up playing games like this.
After going through the Nintendo 64 and GameCube era without any home console light gun games, it was nice to see a return to the genre on the Wii. It reminded me of when Nintendo used to make smaller, arcade-like games such as Duck Hunt.
I later picked up/played additional light gun games on the Wii such as the Resident Evil shooters and House of the Dead: Overkill. The Wii Zapper definitely made those games more fun.
In this video I completed all of Level 4 while earning a platinum medal.
Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables. I'm using the Wii Zapper.
