Recall EVS Spotbox clips from GV Keyenne with Lance

A reminder video for mwah on how to recall EVS Spotbox clips from the Keyenne vision mixer with a Lance controller.

On Lance Controller:

• Select Device Enable channels (didn't verbal this!) Usually A=Spot1, B=Spot2, C=Spot3, D=Spot4 EVS Guarantee Engineer may gang Spot1 + Spot2 together on Device A.

• Make sure Learn button is lit

Select Lance Reg. Press & hold Reg button + use +/- keys to select register Press Clip List Use jog/shuttle wheel to select video clip Press Current Press Mark In This cue point is now recorded into Lance Register #

On GV mixer: Devices - PBus menu Check PBus 1 Address is 1 etc Select PBus 1 Select Trigger 0 (corresponds to Lance function 0 load & play) Enable E-MEM Learn & Recall

On Master E-MEM Panel: Make sure Auto Recall is selected Make sure PBus is the only region selected Press & hold Learn + register # that corresponds with Lance Register #

Lance register will now be recalled when EMEM is recalled

Recording Transition Macro: Do the usual... select DSK source Recall E-MEM Register (auto recall and only affects PBus) Insert 6 Frame delay (otherwise a flash of the previous clip will be seen) Cut DSK on Insert delay PP Cut under Insert delay Cut DSK off ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eh7IGJ4uQE
