Arduino LED VU audio level meter, with dot and bar modes, and peak detector circuit
Unrelated Activities
Arduino LED VU audio level meter, with dot and bar modes, and peak detector circuit. 10 LEDs VU meter using an Arduino Nano. Each LED indicates approximately 3dB level difference from its neighbours, for example -30dB first LED, -27dB second LED, and so on, until -3dB and above for the tenth LED. The audio signal to be monitored passes through a peak detector circuit before entering the Arduino through an analog input pin. Arduino code and the schematic for the peak detector is shown in the Youtube video, and will also be posted on @unrelatedactivities Community section.
