In the last part we are going to test our new template to see how it can improve our workflow. So, I begin by making a beat, using our pre-loaded drum instrument, as well as our parallel drum compression pre-set and reverbs. Next I make some bass and synth parts and tweak the processing on our FX channels.

I am historically a very slow producer, so anything to help speed-up the writing process is a good thing. Keeping an idea fresh is very important!

We're not making anything great here, but this does demonstrate how quickly an idea can come together by using templates. The template allows us to cut-down on the technical aspects of producing, freeing ourselves to concentrate more on the creative aspects of beat-making and song writing.
