Use drywall control joints to fix drywall ceiling cracks permanently.

If you have tried repairing the cracks and they just keep coming back, then it's time to install a drywall control joint. If done correctly, it will not only stop the cracks; it will also look good.

Ron King will walk you through the process of cutting the existing drywall and gluing and stapling the joint in before applying hot mud to hold the joint in place.

After you apply several coats of drywall mud to achieve your desired level of finish, you will tear off the plastic guide.
