Another Letter From Chris Chan - The One I Missed

Against all odds, Christory continues, and the ongoing saga has a new development. So, in contrast to the typical letters that Chris Chan has been writing, this is in response to some correspondence that he’d received while in prison. As to the letters actual author(s), I can’t say, but it’s either a would-be troll, a currently existing troll, or a ween wanting to start some new drama. Bizarrely, they were testing the waters to make an appeal for Chris Chan to convert to Islam. Truly a different turn of events. I don’t have a copy of the original scans of the letter Chris received, but the response letters have been scanned and disseminated across the internet.

The reactions to this latest and greatest trolling attempt, if you can call it that, have been a collective eyeroll from much of the internet. Both the initial means of contact and Chris Chans response were two pages, making for a total of four pages. It would appear as though an earlier letter was sent out by the same author, however, whether or not it was received by Chris is unclear. Obviously, the fact that Chris is in prison will limit their means of contact with the outside world, hence why they took to writing letters in an effort to reach out to such peoples as Null and Kenneth Englehardt.

At this point, I honestly think that any new trolling attempts or efforts by one or more individuals is the least in poor taste, and beating a dead horse into the ground. Chris has had enough for many years now and the fact that some of the trolling attempts had gone for as long or as far as they had is a testament to the obliviousness of those on the internet – people don’t know when they take something too far. I’m conflicted, however, as Chris hasn’t been what I’d consider to be a “good person” for a long time now. Doesn’t mean I’d be supportive or encouraging of any actions be taken against them at this late stage though, short of them being held in a court of law to face justice for their crimes.
