Trip Killers are a vital part of any psychonauts toolbox and give you a way to end or calm down a trip if things get out of hand.

Much of our community say that you should always just 'go through the bad trip' and you'll be better off without trip killers but this is TERRIBLE advice and doesn't account for a huge range of emergency situations that are possible.

Ideally, you always want to have a trip killer on hand just in case you need it. Whether you need a trip killer because you're having a really bad trip, or you need a trip killer because Putin decided to to end the world and you don't wanna be tripping and trapped in rubble and radiation (yikes). There's many many many scenarios where you'd be better off with a trip stopping exit route!

It also will likely give you peace of mind which will help you relax and surrender to the experience knowing you're not necessarily 'locked in'. That's why even if you never intend on using it, having a trip stopper is still a great idea :)

There's a huge variety of trip killers and trip stoppers to choose from and in this video, we go over a few different types:
