There seem to be 2 sides psychonauts tend to gather in when it comes to the 'realness' of bad trips. Some claim that there's no such thing as bad trips, and others claim there is. But are these the only 2 positions or opinions on bad trips?

I like to think of answering this question as more of a spectrum than a black and white thing. What if you're somewhere in the middle? What if you're outside that spectrum? Nevermind that, even if you're on one side or the other, what is your reason for having the stance on bad trips that you currently have?

In this video I share my stance and talk about both sides of the argument people tend to make, and how quick they both are to invalidate each other and dismiss each others ideas without really seeing the other's perspective.

One side of the extreme believes that bad trips ARE real, and they can be disastrous. They might not even take psychedelics at all knowing how bad things can get and how risky it is to do. The other side believes that bad trips are all just learning experiences. They're all good trips in disguise that can be integrated into a beneficial experience, they say the term 'bad trip' is misleading because it's not ACTUALLY bad.

You won't hear me fighting for one side of the bad trip belief system in this video, I just want to share my own personal thoughts on the topic and hopefully it helps y'all have a more understanding perspective towards people on each side without having to demonize them or dismiss them as having of value to share!
