Arduino Made Easy Lesson 09 - Using IR Sensors & Relays
Toms Trains and Things
In this video of Arduino Made Easy Lesson 09 - Using IR Sensors & Relays, we cover the requests from a few viewers with concerns about using more IR Sensors and Relays in their project.
Adapted from Lesson 07 of the same series of Arduino made Easy(er) we make a few changes where we eliminate the flashing LED's and replace them with a relay to activate a crossing signal module. We also added two more sensors to simulate a double track crossing.
When first designing this project I was over thinking the process trying to add more code to control the outcome. Then it hit me that all I had to do was use the same input for the pair of entering and exiting IR sensors.
