Driving Too Fast For Conditions On DuSable Lake Shore Drive (09.25.2023)

on Monday September 25th, 2023 during my morning commute after returning to Chicago from Furnace Fest, a driver going too fast for the wet conditions on DuSable Lake Shore Drive approached from behind, lost control on the wet pavement entering the lane I was using, then made contact with the median coming to rest sideways. I heard the contact and checked my rearview mirror to see the sideways car. While I didn't feel anything, when I heard the contact I was concerned something had possibly hit my car. After arriving at my destination I checked and found no damage, thankfully. That doesn't appear to be the case for that other driver though. I zoomed it at 2x and slowed the video to 30% speed to help show what occurred a bit better though the rain on the rear window certainly doesn't help with visibility.
