Man-Made "Billy": A FtM Journey (Documentary Excerpt)

Clipped excerpts from the "Born in the Wrong Body - Girls to Men" documentary, which shows the transition journey of "Billy" a 26 year old FtM who has already undergone double mastectomy. The documentary follows Billy through the process of the initial stage of phalloplasty, constructing a neo-phallus from skin harvested from the lower ventral abdomen.

This procedure is paired with hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy - removal of the otherwise healthy uterus and ovaries.

The documentary is more frank and open about the surgical process than most depictions found in media, while it still does not include things such as scarring/retraction, keloids, neo-urethral strictures, fistula, recurrent UTI, cardiovascular complications or cancer risks of lifelong testosterone or any other of the many complications with this procedure or hormones.
