Why is Gov Roy Cooper Really Afraid of School Vouchers?

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper is ALARMED, y'all! He says it's a "Public School EMERGENCY" that private school voucher programs might be expanded in this state. Now anyone who knows me knows I'm not in favor of voucher programs as a SOLUTION to our education woes, in this or any other state, AND I strongly suspect any and all problems with voucher programs are just more evidence that programs conceived and run by the state, are less likely to succeed at any of their stated goals.

This video is not about whether or not voucher programs are a good thing, it is meant to highlight why I suspect Roy Cooper really fears them, since the reasons he's giving don't make a lot of sense (and I explain why).
