Installing Functional Linux on the Pentium III Machine

So uhh... This happened. I so happened to run into the idea of installing some form of Linux on the Windows 2000 machine. Featuring me. Yup, true me. True Radmin. Who else would it be?
And for those confused, here's the full specs of my Tualatin machine:
