Supply Chain Disruption

Supply chain disruptions occur within Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory management due to the inherent susceptibility to shock. JIT is highly efficient but depends on accurate forecasting and a symphony of stakeholders working together in concert.

What we are seeing now is disruptions and breakdowns starting to occur. Plant closures, dairies dumping milk, growers culling chicks and piglets will exacerbate supply down the road. How long before that occurs?
