The fate of me and my people are bound together, they're one and the same.
The fate of me and my people are bound together. They're one and the same.
A leader is to act as a father to their people, and they're to love and to protect them just as they would their own children.
Why is it that those without the means to really do something do everything that they can, while those who do have the means do very little, if anything, at all for our cause and for our people? Is it perhaps the fact that those without means have lost most meaningful relationships, and have already willingly put their livelihoods at risk as well as bravely face potential imprisonment, or even death, because our peoples future is worth any and all risks? While those with means are so selfish, shortsighted, and cowardly to risk what they currently have? Whether or not my voice is heard today or tomorrow, it will be heard. If I'm taken prisoner, for our just cause, the bars can not hold in the words that I have already spoken! Say I'm beaten and abused while I'm there in captivity... am I not given the opportunity to demonstrate my resolve, my belief in our righteous cause, as other such brave men of our race have in holy defiance once more? Say I'm martyred, what then? Shall my words not be then spoken upon the lips of those willing to do the same, long after my soul departs from this temporal plain of existence? Have your progeny, call out your name in the future... when they face their time of trial and hardship. Let your deeds remind them of the greatness found in their blood.
