Adding audio support to VMM: play Spotify with ease on OpenBSD!
The OpenBSD guy
In this video, I show how to add audio support to #OpenBSD VMM. It enables playing Spotify (free version) on OpenBSD. Additionally, one would have a more usable virtual machine. As mentioned in the video, there are some limitations to this approach: (1) the setup is not so straightforward, (2) it performs best with the Google Chrome browser (3) most importantly, the approach works only on older versions of PulseAudio. It does not work on versions 16, 17, or newer. The best is to have a Debian bullseye installed as the guest VMM.
