Symphony No. 104 in D major (H. 1/104) ‘London Symphony’ by Joseph Haydn
Haydn composed a collection of twelve ‘London Symphonies’, with symphony No. 104 being the last. The work was completed in 1795, with the premiere being given at the King’s Theatre in London in May the same year.
The work is comprised of four movements:
I. Adagio – Allegro 00:00
II. Andante 09:36
III. Menuetto and Trio: Allegro 19:16
IV. Finale: Spiritoso 24:29
