Romance for violin and orchestra No. 2 in F major, Op. 50 by Ludwig van Beethoven
Beethoven likely completed this work in 1798, however the work was not published until 1805. This work would become one of only two such ‘Romances’ for violin and orchestra Beethoven composed. Despite this work being completed before the other ‘Romance’ due to the delayed publishing, this work was released as the Romance No. 2 (the Romance No. 1 was completed in 1801).
This work is comprised of a single movement.
