Installing Software With apt (formerly apt-get)

This is another short video on some Linux basics. I know some people might find this too basic but I promise you that there are people out there that could really use this talk. I never received it decades ago when I started using Linux and it would have been very helpful and I would have learned much faster if I had known these things.

For the newbies, this is a good place to start getting more used to the command line. Once you learn how to do one or two basic things, it is like math in that it expands from there and you’ll be finding yourself using it more and more as well as even preferring it sometimes!
