A recent comment had me thinking about a common logical error made in psychological or behavioral explanations… when we attempt to justify our behavior, we often look to the future. An example could be when you go to the fridge to grab a beverage, you may justify why you went to the fridge through something like “I was going to be reinforced by the delicious drink” Learn more about how this turns into a logical error if you aren't careful in your reasoning and justification!
