It has been 200 years since the downfall of the sovereign colonies, the events of the first incident had been effectively swept under the rug until the cec find the planet "Aegis VII" within the cluster. Planning to crack the planet for their harvesting of resources for the century old war with "The Enemy" they discover an alien artifact "The Red Marker" along with a native of the planet to which they send to the USG Ishimura for further study however what will happen when this alien life form revives and becomes whole again.

How will 200 years within the presence of the red marker have changed the daleks? Will they be different? If so how so? Better or worse? Will they save humanity from their plight of extinction or will they add to their undoing?
