1: PREVENTION

o Change email password regularly o Change email password regularly of primary email connected to phone plan o NEVER store passwords online, on a computer, or on your phone o Create security PIN with phone plan o Set protection measures with phone plan o Use Google authenticator or Authy for 2FA

2: PREPARATION FOR AN ATTACK

o Download App for calling over WIFI o Become an authorized user for your phone plan/have access to the account o Backup email with 1 or more other emails o Set notifications for all important services (crypto, bank accounts, credit cards etc.) o Spread cryptocurrency across different wallets

3: SOLVE THE ISSUE

1. Identify you have been hacked (loss of service + email notification + locked out)
2. Call phone provider and disable service
3. Disable/lock accounts if possible
4. Remove phone as backup from important accounts
