Why you can't trust some research from the 60s & 70s

Hey everyone!

In this video we first review linear congruential generators, an easy way to generate pseudo random sequences of integers. We then talk about IBM RANDU, a random number generator that was used for research at one point, with terrible performance.

We do this while doing examples in python.
