The principle of maximum entropy
The Logical Approach
Hi everyone,
Jonathon Riddell here. Today we apply Jaynes' principle of maximum entropy to the case of rigged dice, and we use it to derive the definition of temperature! We also recover other key thermodynamic results!
The equation used on wolfram: (1e^(-x)+2e^(-2x)+ 3e^(-3x)+4e^(-4x)+5e^(-5x)+6e^(-6x))/(e^(-x)+e^(-2x)+ e^(-3x)+e^(-4x)+e^(-5x)+e^(-6x)) = 4.62
