Older Nokia's, Motorola's, LG's,Samsung's, Blackberry's, Sony Ericsson's etc etc are known for being especially tough and could take a serious beating and still work. Nokia phones are known for their durability and Nokia durability or Nokia toughness memes are a commonplace on the internet and are pretty accurate when considering how durable most Nokia phones are.

So what makes older phones so durable? is it there amazing build quality? simplicity? or is it something else? The answer is actually quite interesting. Older phones are usually known as being built like tanks or built like rocks. The meme of the Nokia tank is very common on the internet and this also applies to other vintage phone's from other brands like what I mentioned above. As a phone collector with a pretty large phone collection this knowledge is kind of obvious to me as I own so many vintage phones or retro phones. Most of these are considered rare phones or collectible phones and I am keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones. These include vintage Nokia, vintage Motorola, Vintage Sony Ericsson, Vintage Samsung, Vintage LG, Vintage Blackberry and other old school phones. My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Google Pixel 6a, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 10 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
