Unknown Nokia PROTOTYPE Phone | Unreleased Nokia | Asha 400? (Review) (2022)

This is my special review of the Unknown Nokia Prototype that I recently acquired off eBay. I am completely dumbfounded as to what this thing actually is and so is everyone I asked. Theories range from it being a US release Nokia Asha Device such as a possible Asha 400, to a part of a cancelled line up of Nokia phones called the Nokia Meltemi line up. To a Nokia test bed with a confusing mix of markings and specs.

It cost me $265 off eBay. The Phone at first glance is easily identifiable as a Nokia Asha ish device or something on the lines of a Nokia 700, Nokia 500 or Nokia 600 prototype. The only issue with this is that it seems too premium to be an asha but also does not run Nokia Symbian and have a home button to be akin to a Symbian. My first theory is that thing is a Nokia Asha 400 or something on the lines of an Asha phone or the US market. It would have been called something else In the US tho. Some have suggested that this thing could be a part of the long cancelled pseudo successor line up to the Asha series, called the Nokia Meltemi. The only issue with this being a Nokia Meltemi prototype is that its design characteristics don't line up. It has a strange simulated permanent wallpapers that this thing has which resemble no other Nokia OS ever seen before. It looks like a hybrid between Asha Series 40, Meltemi and Nokia Symbian. But in reality it could be an entirely unreleased Prototype Operating system. It could be a Nokia XpressMusic phone as it has two extremely loud and clear stereo speakers. It also has C0 and C0-00 marked on its body, identifies as a Nokia 6700 Classic in its info section and also when on Bluetooth. The 6700 identification most likely mean this thing has the base specs of a Nokia 6700 Classic from 2009.

These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Google Pixel 6a, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 10 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
