I Bought The Cheapest iPod Touch On eBay | Lets See If It Works

Welcome to another video in my cheapest playlist of videos, where I showcase the cheapest device under a certain category, brand or type. In this video, we have the cheapest iPod Touch or Cheapest iPod Touch 5th Gen I could find on eBay. It cost a total of $4.99 and was from a random lot of iPods.

The iPod Touch 5 or iPod Touch 5th Generation was released in 2012 alongside the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c and was the first iPod with a lightning connector. It was also the first and last major redesign of the then dying iPod line-up. It featured the short lived iPod Loop which was a lanyard strap that hooked onto a small pop out button at the back and was the same design used on the iPod Touch 6th Gen and final iPod ever released, the iPod Touch 7th Gen. It also featured a lighter painted aluminum body as opposed to stainless steel on the previous iPod Touch models. It was also the first iPod Touch to come in a bunch of colors rather than just black and white. It featured the Apple A5 Dual-Core processor and had a larger 4 inch display. It shipped with IOS 6.0 and was eventually upgradable to IOS 9.3.5. The iPod Touch 5th gen being 10 years old at the time of this video is still widely available online as it sold quite well in 2012. This unit seems to be in great shape with minimal scratches and since I already own an identical 5th gen iPod touch it wont be anything surprising. iPods are slowly becoming collectors items and as an iPod collector myself, I can safely say these will only go up in price as time goes by.
