Ultimately the question is who designed the game board, and who's in charge of changing the rules / terrain? Most people don't even know there's a game happening. While we may be told we can have a guest role as a game designer, I don't think the general public is actually controlling ANY of the Web3 "games" of extended reality. The trick is, they want us to believe we are in control. That's what "the resistance" is selling - problem, reaction, solution. We can debate whether or not they understand what they are doing, but that is the situation.
