How to use Yonomi with Alexa

Getting Yonomi to talk with Alexa

1. Download Yonomi app for your smartphone

2. Create account on Yonomi

3. Record login information in a password manager app

4. Start the Alexa app

5. Tap on Menu

6. Tap on Skills and Games

7. Type Yonomi in search field

8. Tap on Yonomi in search results

9. Tap on Enable

10. Enter Yonomi credentials in the screen that follows

11. Tap on Login

12. Tap on Connect With Yonomi

13. You should now see a screen that Yonomi has connected

14. Tap on X to close out current screen

      The remaining work will start with the Yonomi app
    

15. Start the Yonomi app

16. Tap on the Account/Hub that you want to connect to

17. Tap on Connect at the next screen to start the linking process

18. Enter the credentials for the account you are linking to

19. Tap on Authorize button

You will need to create a "routine" in order to control a device

After adding or deleting routines, you will need to do the "discover devices" with Alexa for it to know about the change in devices. Even though you have created two "routines" with Yonomi, Alexa will indicate it has discover one "Scene".

To see what Alexa heard - In the Alexa App, go to Settings, Alexa Account, Alexa Privacy, Review Voice History or visit https://www.amazon.com/alexaprivacy.

To see if Yonomi is getting the request, enable notifications on each routine you are having a problem with to see if the request is getting through from Alexa to Yonomi
